The classic 80s title track from album with the same name 'Nachna Pia' continues to be played at Punjabi weddings across the world.
Released on the SSTV label, recorded at Flexible Response in Little Germany and produced by local jazz keyboardist Dave Cass of Middle 8, the album was a new direction for UK based Punjabi folk as it featured the guest vocals of the late great Panjabi folk singer Kuldeep Manak.
Backing vocals by Satpal Anjaana and Surinder Pal, naal (Indian drum) by Buta, accordion by Surinder Pal and mandolin by Jagtar.
One of the many hidden gems from the evergreen album 'Nachna Pia'.
Lead vocals by the late Kuldeep Manak Ji with backing vocals by Satpal Anjaana and Surinder Pal. Dholki (Indian drum) by the true dholki master Buta and the classic accordion lead conjured up by Surinder Pal.
Written by Satpal Anjaana's brother-in-law Sodhi.
